A Letter From Our Groomers

Dear Valued Client,

First, allow me to thank you for choosing Lifetime Pet Wellness Center for your pet’s grooming needs. We truly appreciate the fact that you have entrusted us with the care of your pet and we do not take that for granted. We understand how very important your pet’s happiness and well-being are to you!

Grooming is not only important in keeping your pet looking great, but also in the maintenance of your pet’s overall health and wellness.  Your pet’s safety and comfort are of utmost importance to us and we want them to enjoy their grooming experience! We take pride in our attention to detail, as well as our “positive-reinforcement only” approach to interacting with your pet during his or her groom. We know how individual each pet is and welcome them all.  We genuinely enjoy working with pets of all personalities, including those who may pose some type of challenge, whether it be related to age, medical needs, disability, behavior, or even if your pet may have had a negative grooming experience elsewhere in the past. Our goal is to replace those past experiences with new and positive ones! ?

Scheduling regular grooming appointments is the key to keeping your pet accustomed to a regular routine, as well as avoiding issues such as severe-matting, which can cause your pet discomfort, as well as issues like skin irritation or hot spots, which can make their grooms more involved. Even regular nail trims or filing, will help keep your pet walking more comfortably.

You also can also play a role in your pet becoming more accustomed to the grooming process as well. The more positive experiences he or she has both at home and while visiting their groomer, the more likely they are to learn to enjoy being groomed!

Introduce a new puppy to grooming as early as possible (and once they have completed their initial vaccinations in order to keep them safe).  No matter the age of your pet, continuing to work on grooming at home helps maintain your pet’s coat between appointments, and can also be a great way to bond with your pet.  Practicing gentle brushing at home, and also practicing having ears and paws gently touched, will gradually help them feel more comfortable.  Here at Lifetime Pet Wellness Center, we always make sure to use the safest and most quality of natural products for your pet.  We are more than happy to recommend what types brushes, tools, or products might be best to use at home with your pet… Feel free to ask us!  And we always use treats, toys, and praise to reward your pet throughout their grooming appointments!

Again, we want to reiterate our thanks in your choosing to book with Lifetime Pet Wellness Center for your pet’s grooming services!  If you have any questions at all, do not hesitate to call the main office line at LPWC at 614-888-2100 and ask to speak with a groomer.  If you leave a message for us with the front desk, we will return your call and try our best to do so in a timely fashion.  We look forward to working with you and your pet!

Sincerely,

Erin and Melissa, LPWC Pet Stylists
