2014 Tackle Pet Hunger Food Drive

Join LPWC, Ohio Animal Companion, PetPromise and Faithful Forgotten Best Friends in fighting pet hunger in our central Ohio communities! Pet food donations may be dropped off at our collection box in the LPWC Lobby during the month of November.

About our beneficiary organizations:

Pet Promise Pet Food Pantry

The PetPromise Pet Food Pantry provides temporary assistance in the form of cat and dog food free of charge to caretakers of feral cat colonies and pet owners who are experiencing economic hardship. Approximately 26,000 pounds of dog and cat food has been distributed to people in need since 2008.

Faithful Forgotten Best Friends

Faithful Forgotten Best Friends works to improve the quality of life for pets of the homeless and the less fortunate in the downtown Columbus and Franklinton areas through educating their owners and providing food, vaccinations and assistance with spay and neuter of their pets. FFBF is the only non-profit in the Midwest that is focusing on this need, and it is their hope that the program will become a pilot program for other cities!
